Bata City vs. Thames Gateway Projects

The panel discussion will investigate the Bata urban development versus the Thames Gateway development. What are the similarities and differences between the private development of Bata and the state development of the Thames Gateway? Can the urban strategy of Bata sill be seen as a role model for a self sustained working live balance? What are the goals of the new developments of the Thames Gateway Project and how do they address sustainable communities? How are communal identities being created today?

The panel discussion will be introduced by a presentation of the Bata strategies as well as project examples for the Thames Gateway area.
